These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Heartisans, operated by Lumorow LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Heartisans. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us promptly at info@heartisans.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
Heartisans exists to help people build real connections. To keep it a safe and functional space, the following are prohibited:

We rely on user reports and our own review to enforce these guidelines. Violations may result in warnings, feature restrictions, or permanent account termination, at our discretion.
Heartisans is built for people with left political commitments, and political discussion, organizing conversations, and activism-related connections are a natural and expected part of how people use this app. We want to be direct with you about something that affects how you should think about those conversations.
Laws around political speech, protest, and association vary by country and are changing. In recent years, several countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, have passed or proposed laws that criminalize support for, membership in, or association with certain causes or organizations, in some cases based on designations that can change without much public notice. What is lawful political speech or association in one jurisdiction, or at one point in time, may not be in another.
This means:
You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, bio, messages). By posting content, you grant us a limited license to display, store, and transmit it as necessary to operate the app (for example, showing your profile to other users). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retained copies are needed for legal or safety purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
You're responsible for the content you post and represent that you have the right to post it and that it doesn't violate these Terms or any law.
Heartisans is donation-supported. Donations are voluntary and do not unlock any feature unavailable to non-donors. Donations are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
Heartisans provides tools to help you connect with others, but we do not conduct criminal background checks on users at this time, and we cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or safety of any user you interact with. You are solely responsible for your own safety when meeting people, online or in person. We strongly encourage meeting in public places, telling a friend where you're going, and trusting your judgment.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.
Heartisans is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumorow LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including your interactions with other users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify users of material changes through the app or by email before they take effect.
